At TREI, LLC, our mission is to offer investment opportunities in vacation homes that are exquisite, environmentally friendly & profitable. Our management team is comprised of both domestic & international development professionals that ensure each property is expertly built and managed to maximize the ROI for our investment partners. While our properties are all unique, our process & relationship with our investors are steadfast.
PROPERTY SELECTION
Working with both US & Costa Rican property development teams, we identify & purchase ideal properties to develop profitable vacation rentals throughout Costa Rica. Properties include beach, jungle & luxury urban properties.
Construction & Development
Construction of the property is managed by our local Costa Rican team. Each property is built with renter preferences in mind and to ultimately maximize occupancy and investor return on investment.
DEVELOPMENT PLANNING
Once we close on a property, our construction, legal, and financial teams get to work designing the development concept, establishing a construction plan, building a Costa Rica based construction team and preparing pro forma financials for investors.
INVESTMENT PERIOD
Each property is limited to a set number of investment shares - usually no more than 5. Each share is represented by a minimum investment amount. TREI will be always be one of the members. Once the investment has been fully funded, a US based LLC is established for the property.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Once a property is complete, we list the property on various prolific vacation rental sites including Airbnb. Our team includes Costa Rican based property managers that live in the vicinity of each property. Part of the responsibility of the property manager is to ensure positive customer experiences and assist with hitting our target occupancy rates.
investment management
TREI is responsible for all management decisions & responsibilities. This includes investor due diligence for SEC compliance, investor fiduciary duties, insurance coverage with both US & Costa Rican policies, paying quarterly dividends, annual reporting, managing sales & purchase of investment shares, property management, development & construction.

Vacation & earn tax-advantaged, passive income in a tropical home that you own. Once a property begins generating income, investors will receive quarterly dividend checks. In addition to enjoying the benefits of passive income, each investment share comes with a one week stay at the property you own.
